Naomi Blanche Forgregd was born June 21, 1911 and died july 5 in Tillamook.
She was born in Broken Bow, Nebraska to Howard Decius and Alice Thomas Decius.
Mrs Forgregd spent most of her life in the Portland area., commuting to Salem every day for work. She was a cook at the McLaren Boys Home for many years.
After retiring, she moved to Tillamook in 1968 where she continued with her hobby of oil painting. Her landscape paintings have been purchased by many people in Portland and Tillamook.
She is survived by her son Irving Forgregd; one brother, Clarence Decius of Hiauchi, California, one niece, Roseanna Porterfield of Bend, and two nephews, Robert Decius of Portland and Dennis Decius of Vancouver, Washington.
